It takes a village.
My family is wonderful. To say the least. It takes a village to raise a child, well, they are helping us pay for the custody attorney for M and J. Chris is a friend, so we are paying the "family" rate, but it is still more than what we can afford.
M and J have lived a life full of turmoil, have been pulled from pillar to post, have never lived in any one place for a year before we came into their lives. I'm not saying that we are sacrificing ourselves to save these two boys, but we are trying. There have been sacrifices that I can't understand and wish never happened. I also regret that the last conversation I had with my father was about the mess that we are suffering through.
I know he understood, but this has been my obsession for quite a while--these boys.
